Steven Mendoza received a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin in 1989 and received a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin in 1992. Steve’s experience in the public sector includes: the Texas Water Commission (now TCEQ) in the Plans and Specifications Review section; City of San Marcos, Department of Environment and Engineering; Texas Water Development Board Economically Distressed Assistance Program (EDAP); Texas Department of Rural Affairs; and Texas Division of Emergency Management (TDEM), Mitigation Section in Austin. Steve joined Jones-Heroy & Associates, Inc. in 2015 and is responsible for managing the construction documentation for projects in several Austin area districts as well as the TCEQ bond application process for several utility districts in the Austin, Dallas, and Houston areas.
